The variety is a vigorous plant with broad, soft, glossy dark green leaves and thick stems. It has a more open growth habit compared to the Grasslands Paroa variety. The seeds are characterized by a very large size, reaching 8 mm in length, and strong awnedness, with their weight being twice that of other ryegrass varieties.

The plant has high yield potential, exceeding the performance of forage cereal crops during the winter and spring periods. The variety is adapted to regions with fertile soils and high rainfall levels and requires additional nitrogen nutrition. It is used as an annual forage crop for feeding livestock during late pregnancy and early lactation periods.
