The Hannah variety is a loose-tufted plant. In the German classification, it belongs to the subspecies Westerwold ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum var. westerwoldicum).

This variety is intended for use in field forage production and intensive grassland farming, where it is used both in pure stands and as part of grass mixtures.
