The Verdasco variety is a type of perennial ryegrass. At present, the variety is considered obsolete and has been excluded from official agricultural plant catalogs.

Historically, the variety appeared in materials from agricultural research conducted in Spain in the late 1980s and 1990s. It was intended for use as a forage crop for establishing pastures and hayfields in Mediterranean climate conditions.
