Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is the result of breeding Japanese varieties of Lonicera caerulea var. emphyllocalyx. The bush reaches a height of 1.2–2 meters. Flowering is late, which allows avoiding spring frosts. The variety requires mandatory cross-pollination with other varieties blooming in the same period.

Plants are frost-resistant, withstanding temperatures down to -35...-40°C. Medium to large-sized berries have an oval shape and a sweet-tart taste. Fruits detach easily during harvest, have good keeping quality when stored in a refrigerator for up to 2–3 weeks, and are suitable for fresh consumption or processing.
