The plant is a deciduous shrub with an upright, dense, and compact habit, reaching a height of 1.5–1.9 m. The bush's shoots are strong and flexible. The variety is a product of hybridization between the Russian variety «Соловей» and the Japanese «MT46.55».
The fruits have an elongated shape, resembling a barrel or an elongated plum, with a dark blue color and a waxy bloom. The average weight of the berries is 1.9–3.2 g with a length of up to 3 cm. The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group, with the harvest period falling in the second half of June and July.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to -46°C, and the flowers are resistant to spring frosts. The variety is self-incompatible and requires the presence of other pollinator varieties blooming during the same period.
