The variety belongs to the species Lonicera caerulea var. kamtschatica. The shrub reaches a height of 1.6–1.9 m and has a compressed oval crown of medium density. The berries are large, weighing 1.4–1.7 g (up to 3 g maximum), elongated-cylindrical or broad-fusiform in shape with firm, smooth skin.
The plant is an early maturity group. It is characterized by high winter hardiness down to -40°C, drought tolerance, and resistance of flowers to spring frosts. Fruit shedding is low (5–10%), and the detachment is dry, which allows for mechanical harvesting. The yield is 3.6–4.7 kg per bush.
The fruit taste is sweet, dessert-like, without bitterness, with a sugar content of 16 on the Brix scale. The berries are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and processing, and possess high transportability.
