Variety description

The variety was obtained by open pollination of the variety «Gerda». The shrub has a spreading, sometimes asymmetrical crown, reaching a height of 1.5 to 2 meters. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -35...-40°C.
Berries are dark blue in color with a white waxy bloom and reach a length of 2.5–3 cm. The taste of the fruits is evaluated as sweet and sour, without bitterness, with characteristic notes. Yield is up to 3–5 kg per bush. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
The variety is self-incompatible; cross-pollination requires other varieties, such as «Морена», «Нимфа», «Лазурная», «Павловская» or «Мальвина». It should be noted that the name «Amur» is sometimes used to refer to the inedible Lonicera maackii species.
