The variety belongs to the genus Lophospermum of the Plantaginaceae family. The plant reaches a height of up to 250 cm and is capable of taking the form of a vine or an ampelous plant.
The flowers are tubular in shape with a tube length of about 4.5 cm and a diameter of about 4.0 cm. The petal color is dark purple-red, corresponding to the RHSCC N79B scale.
The variety is propagated exclusively by vegetative means. It is used for decorating vertical surfaces, growing on balconies, and in hanging baskets.
