The variety is a hardy plant adapted to high-altitude conditions up to 2000 meters above sea level. With sufficient moisture, productivity is 14–18 tons of dry matter per hectare with the possibility of performing up to 3–4 cuts per year.

Hay of this variety is distinguished by its softness and a content of easily digestible proteins of up to 15%. Agricultural practice suggests a seeding rate of 20–25 kg/ha when sowing in spring or autumn periods.

The plant is used for the formation of hayfields and mountain pastures, combines well in grass mixtures with cereal crops, and is also used for slope stabilization and land reclamation.
