The variety is used as a forage legume crop. The presence of medium concentrations of condensed tannins in its composition facilitates efficient nitrogen absorption and increases animal productivity, while preventing ruminal tympany.

In comparative trials, the variety demonstrates stable productivity, showing dry matter yields at the level of other common Lotus varieties. When working with this material, it is important to avoid confusion with varieties of other species, such as red clover, which have similar names.
