The variety is tetraploid and possesses vigorous above-ground and underground shoots up to 50 cm long, which ensures active spreading. The green mass of the plant contains a high level of condensed tannins, which contributes to improved nitrogen utilization in ruminants.
The plant is characterized by high tolerance to acidic soil reaction and moisture-loving nature, successfully developing in waterlogged areas and peatlands. The variety is used as a single- or double-cut component in forage mixtures and stands for the reseeding of meadows and pastures.
