The variety was developed based on local Croatian lupine forms. The plant is characterized by a branched stem, the height of which can reach 1.5 meters. The variety belongs to early-maturing types and is focused on achieving high yields.

It belongs to the "sweet" variety group, which is due to a reduced alkaloid content. It is used as a grain legume crop and as green manure for nitrogen enrichment of the soil.
