The plant belongs to "sweet" varieties with an extremely low alkaloid level in the range of 0.01–0.03%. The variety is tall, has a branched structure, and large leaves and seeds. The grain contains a high percentage of protein and oil.
The variety has later maturity dates compared to narrow-leaf and yellow lupin and is characterized by relatively low lodging resistance. It is suitable for cultivation in regions with a warm climate on soils with a pH level of up to 7.8, is used for food and feed purposes, as well as for the production of green mass.
