The variety belongs to semi-determinate plants with a growing season of 110–115 days. Under test conditions, grain yield reached 4.5 t/ha.

The alkaloid content is 0.011%, which allows the variety to be classified as low-alkaloid (sweet) and used for forage purposes. The plant is widely used in scientific practice as a reference sample when studying resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to anthracnose.
