The variety belongs to the "sweet" lupin category, which results in a low alkaloid content in the seeds. The crop was intended for use as a high-protein feed base or for food purposes.

The growing season of the variety depends heavily on weather conditions: in a warm and dry summer, ripening occurs normally, but in cool and wet years it can be delayed until September. One of the key characteristics is the high vulnerability of the plant to anthracnose caused by the fungus Colletotrichum lupini.

Currently, the variety has lost its industrial significance and is considered primarily as a historical or research object within genetic collections.
