The variety is intended for use as a green manure. The plant is capable of forming abundant biomass and possesses a well-developed root system, the roots of which can reach the thickness of a finger.
The variety is well adapted for cultivation on acidic soils. The roots remain viable until the spring of the following year, which may lead to competition with subsequent crops in the crop rotation. Use of the variety demonstrates high nitrogen-fixing capacity and an increase in the yield of subsequent grain crops.
