The variety was discovered in the vicinity of the village of Pirtó and is a bud mutation of the Starking variety. The tree is characterized by a compact growth habit, typical for spur-type varieties.

The fruits in their characteristics resemble the parent Starking variety. The variety is distinguished by high yield and is intended to expand the range of fruit crops.
