The tree has moderate vigor and an upright-spreading canopy, with a tendency to form blind wood near the trunk. Fruit buds are formed on two-year-old wood. The variety shows moderate susceptibility to powdery mildew and fire blight, is prone to self-thinning of ovaries, and requires access to light for uniform fruit coloration.

The fruits have a yellow ground color with a dark cherry blush and prominent light-colored lenticels. The flesh is yellowish, firm, and very juicy. The fruits ripen in late September, possess a balanced sweet-tart flavor, and are capable of being stored for 10–12 months. A tendency toward premature dropping due to short fruit stalks is observed.
