The variety is a bud mutation of the Royal Gala (Tenroy) variety. The fruits are distinguished by a bright red color with a faint, narrow striped pattern. Due to the uniform coloration of the fruits, the number of required harvests is reduced.
The taste qualities of the fruits correspond to the typical characteristics of the Gala variety and are characterized as sweet. A distinctive feature of the plant is a more intense pinkish-red coloration of the leaf petioles and midribs compared to the original variety.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
