The variety is a winter or early-winter type. The tree is low-vigor ("spur" type), 3–4 meters in height, with a sparse broadly pyramidal or obovate crown. The variety is precocious and productive, but prone to biennial bearing.

The fruits are large or above-average in size (120–250 g), flat-round-conical in shape, often ribbed. The ground color is light green, turning yellow during storage, with a bright red striped blush. The flesh is light yellow or white, fine-grained, tender, and has a sweet-and-sour taste.

The variety has relative resistance to scab, but is characterized by low winter hardiness. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing.
