The tree is low-growing, forming a sparse wide-pyramidal or inverted-pyramidal crown. Fruits weigh 120–200 g, are round, often flattened, with possible ribbing at the base. The main skin color is light green, turning yellow during storage, with a red or dark red blush as the cover color.

Fruit flesh is white or pale yellow, juicy and fine-grained. The flavor is wine-sweet, harmonizing during the storage process. The variety has an early-winter ripening period; harvesting takes place in October, and keeping quality lasts until February–April.

The variety is distinguished by precocity and yield, and shows resistance to scab. In regions with cold climates, trees may suffer from insufficient winter hardiness, which is why it is often used as a pollinator in modern fruit growing.
