Variety description

The tree has medium vigor and forms a large spreading crown. The variety enters bearing early; yields are abundant but characterized by alternate bearing. The variety is a good pollinator for other apple trees.

The fruits are medium-sized, with a regular spherical shape and slight ribbing. The skin is smooth, glossy, greenish-yellow in color with a carmine-red blush and possible stripes. The white flesh, sometimes pinkish under the skin, is distinguished by a tender, juicy texture and a sweet-sour taste.

Harvesting begins in early October, consumer maturity occurs in December, and the fruits retain freshness until April. The variety has medium resistance to scab and powdery mildew, while exhibiting good winter hardiness. Known by the synonyms Jizerní and Granátové svatodušní.
