The fruits of this variety have a round-flat shape and a fairly large size. The ground color of the skin is golden-yellow, with an intense reddish blush often forming on the sunny side. A characteristic feature of the variety is the waxy bloom that appears on the fruits during storage.

The variety is classified as late: harvesting takes place in mid-October, approximately 25–30 days after the harvest of the Golden Delicious variety. Immediately after picking, the fruits have a pronounced acidity, which decreases during storage, making the taste more harmonious. The trees are characterized as moderately susceptible to scab.

Voskovača is an autochthonous variety, so its characteristics may vary slightly depending on the specific clone or region of cultivation. It is used primarily for personal consumption and storage.
