The tree has a wide-crowned shape with drooping branches, dark leaves, and medium-sized white flowers. The fruits have an oily semi-glossy skin with a red blush and stripes, as well as slightly yellowish juicy flesh.

The variety matures in mid-September; the fruits are prone to rapid softening and have a short shelf life. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and is cross-pollinating. Traditionally, the variety was used for juice production, as animal feed, and as a rootstock.
