Trees are characterized by vigorous growth; in commercial orchards, dwarfing rootstocks are recommended. Fruiting begins in the third year, and the variety is distinguished by good yield. A tendency for ripe fruits to drop is noted.

Fruits are large, oblate-round in shape, with glossy yellowish skin covered with pink stripes or a blush. The flesh is yellowish, juicy, and has a harmonious sweet-and-sour taste. The consumption period lasts until December when stored under cool conditions.

The variety is resistant to scab, which allows its use in organic gardening. The fruit harvest period falls in September.
