The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and reaches 5–8 meters in height, forming a rounded crown with long, flexible, and strong branches. The variety requires cross-pollination; suitable pollinators include Glorie van Holland, Cox Orange Pippin, Groninger Kroon, and Lunterse Pippeling.

The fruits are medium to large, yellow in color with a red blush. Ripening occurs in early October, with consumer maturity from November until the end of winter. The variety is considered a dessert apple, intended for fresh consumption. The plant is sensitive to infestation by aphids, apple blossom weevil, and canker.
