Variety description

The plant forms slender, well-branched shrubs or small trees with a broadly funnel-shaped crown up to 3 meters high and up to 1.5 meters wide. Leaves are ovate with a finely serrated margin; they are wine-red when emerging, later dark green with red petioles, and turn orange-red in autumn.
Flowering is abundant in late April – mid-May; flowers are large, pale purple or pink. Fruits ripen in late summer and have a bright fuchsia color with a matte bloom. The variety is self-pollinating, characterized by high winter hardiness down to -29 °C, resistance to diseases, and good adaptation to urban conditions.
