ActiveMalva moschata L. · musk mallow
10 August 2026
The plant has a height of 30 to 100 cm and a stem branched in the lower part. The stems are covered with hairs; basal leaves are predominantly entire, while stem leaves are 5–7-parted or dissected, glabrous on the upper side and pubescent on the underside. The variety is distinguished by the white color of its flowers.
The variety is undemanding to soil and climatic conditions. It is used for forage purposes, for grazing, including in pastures for wild animals, and also as a cover crop in clover-grass mixtures. There is a possibility of food use of the plant.
