The variety is a climbing perennial that often exhibits a compact or bushy growth habit in cultivation. The plant has small dark green glossy leaves and funnel-shaped flowers of a raspberry-red hue. When provided with support, the vine can reach more than 2 meters in height.

The plant is characterized by early and long-lasting flowering from spring to autumn, as well as resistance to high temperatures. The variety is suitable for cultivation in pots, hanging baskets, and on vertical structures. All parts of the plant contain poisonous latex, which requires caution during maintenance.
