Variety description

The Lansouthcarolina variety (trade name Diamantina™ Tourmaline Pink) is a hybrid obtained by crossing Mandevilla x amabilis and Mandevilla boliviensis. The plant has a compact bush habit, reaching a height of 30–50 cm, and does not need a trellis or other supports for growth.
The flowers of the variety have a size of 10–11 cm in diameter and are characterized by a light pink color. Flowering is prolonged, covering the period from early spring to the first frosts. The variety shows high heat resistance and is capable of profuse flowering under moisture deficit.
The plant is intended for cultivation in containers and pots with a diameter of 15–17 cm. Suitable for landscaping balconies, terraces, and small gardens as a solitary culture.
