The variety Gendipsa is a decorative plant of hybrid origin, also known by the trade name Super Trouper Double Pink. The crop is characterized by climbing stems and dense leaves with pronounced transverse veins.

The plant is thermophilic. In temperate climates, it is grown as a container plant or annual, as it requires protection from cold during the winter period.
