The plant forms a sturdy unbranched stem. The flowers are double, densely covering the stem from the base to the top, and possess a clove and spice aroma. The variety is characterized by a long vase life, lasting approximately 10–14 days.
The period from sowing to cutting is approximately 110–130 days under Northern European conditions. The total growing cycle after transplanting takes 9–16 weeks, or 8–12 weeks when using supplemental lighting. The variety combines the properties of Japanese-type stocks with the ease of selecting double-flowered specimens.
