The Dama variety is a result of breeding work by the Institute of Forage Crops in Pleven. The crop is used for hay and green mass production, and in the course of scientific research, it was noted as one of the fastest-growing among the tested varieties in the conditions of Central Northern Bulgaria.
Scientific work on this variety focuses on studying its productivity, including crude protein content in dry matter and regrowth rates after mowing. Specific morphological traits and data on disease resistance are not described in available publications.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
