The variety was created using the inbreeding method through forced self-pollination of selected genotypes. IFK Karina is a synthetic population obtained by combining the reproductive progenies of three parent components that underwent selection for viability and longevity traits.
The variety is intended for pasture use. It is characterized by high productivity, forage and seed quality, as well as adaptability to environmental conditions and resistance to stress factors.
