The alfalfa variety "Kurazh" belongs to intensive types of forage crops. It is adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the Forest-Steppe and Polissya regions of Ukraine.
The plant is valued for its high yield and increased content of forage protein in green mass, being one of the most productive varieties in the line of forage grasses bred by the Nosivka Agricultural Research Station.
