Plants reach a height of 75–85 cm and have an erect habit. The variety possesses high leafiness, with 6 to 8 internodes. Inflorescences are loose, oblong, with lilac-colored flowers. The thousand kernel weight is 2.03–2.15 g.
The variety is characterized by a rapid rate of regrowth in the spring and after each cut. It shows resistance to root rots, the fungus Uromyces striatus, and insects of the genus Apion. The produce is distinguished by improved quality due to an increased protein content and a reduced level of cellulose.
