The Herkules variety is a cultivar of spearmint (Mentha spicata var. crispata). The plant was obtained through breeding work from a Hungarian population of curly mint.

The variety is classified as a medicinal and spice-aromatic plant. Studies have noted that the variety possesses morphological differences from the initial population; however, detailed agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group or oil quality indicators, are not presented in open sources.
