Variety description

The variety belongs to the group of late-flowering plants, with mass flowering occurring at the beginning of July. No re-flowering is observed in this variety after cutting the inflorescences.

In the conditions of southern Ukraine, the variety showed high drought tolerance and winter hardiness, but among the studied samples, it turned out to be the most susceptible to powdery mildew infection. The essential oil yield and its concentration in this variety are lower than in Monarda fistulosa species.
