The variety «Bianca Perla» is characterized by vigorous growth, resistance to viruses, and pure white flowers without a pink tint. For the «Bianca-Linja» variety, flower sizes are indicated as 5.5–6 cm in diameter and inflorescences as 10–15 cm in diameter.

Plants of the species Nerine bowdenii are bulbous perennials with leafless scapes 30–70 cm tall and funnel-shaped flowers in umbellate inflorescences. The flowering period occurs in late summer and autumn. The plants prefer well-drained soils, a sunny location, and require protection from the cold.
