The variety is an herbaceous bulbous perennial belonging to the Amaryllidaceae family. The plant has glossy dark green leaves and fragrant pale pink flowers.

The plant is used in decorative floriculture, including for cut flowers. The variety shows relative cold hardiness, is capable of growing in the open field in zone 7b, withstanding down to -15 °C when planted in a sheltered location and provided with high-quality drainage.
