The plant forms dense clumps. Leaves are strap-shaped, dark green. Peduncles are erect, leafless, bearing at the apex funnel-shaped "spider-like" flowers with wavy petal edges, possessing a light fragrance.
The variety blooms in autumn, often before the appearance of leaves. The plant requires the absence of stagnant moisture in the soil, especially during the summer dormancy period. Suitable for cultivation in open field in a suitable climate and for keeping in containers.
