Variety description

The plant is a low-growing groundcover 10–15 cm in height with creeping trailing shoots. The leaves are small, rounded or oval-lanceolate, bright green, with a glossy surface. Inconspicuous greenish-white or yellowish-green flowers bloom in late spring or early summer.
The main decorative feature is the numerous glossy spherical fruits, which ripen in autumn and, under favorable conditions, persist throughout the winter. The fruits of the plant are inedible and are considered moderately toxic to humans and pets.
The plant is not winter-hardy and is cultivated as a potted indoor crop. It is sensitive to high air humidity, which can lead to fungal diseases, therefore careful watering through the tray is recommended. It requires protection from direct sunlight.
