The variety belongs to oriental (oriental) tobaccos and is close to the Samsun ecotype. The plant has a conical shape, its leaves have a heart-shaped configuration, a slightly wrinkled surface, and short wingless petioles.

The variety's production is used primarily in tobacco blends. The variety shows adaptability to the conditions of the Katerini region; however, yield indicators and chemical composition depend on climatic conditions and the place of cultivation. Research confirms the variety's response to cadmium exposure in the soil.
