Variety description

The variety belongs to the "Basma" group of oriental tobaccos. It was obtained by specialists of the Tobacco and Tobacco Products Institute as a result of crossing the "Krumovgrad 90" variety with "Elena Krumovgrad 817" and "988".
The growing season is 65–70 days. Recommended planting density varies from 160 000 to 220 000 plants per hectare. Agronomic practices involve 4–5 leaf pickings.
The average yield of the variety is 2700–3000 kg/ha. The raw material is characterized by a high nicotine content, however, its content in smoke remains low, which is accompanied by specific taste and aromatic qualities.
