The variety «Різдвяна зірочка» was developed at the M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. Scientific research on this variety is focused on studying its phytochemical characteristics and morphometric analysis of seeds under a microscope.
The chemical composition of the seeds of the variety revealed the presence of terpenoids, such as beta-elemene, germacrene A, and damascenine. Public sources lack information on the field morphological characteristics of the plant, such as height, maturity period, or disease resistance.
