The variety belongs to short-grain rice types and is used in the food industry, including baby food production. The grain is characterized by high technological quality and a low level of mycotoxin contamination, specifically DON.
Under field trial conditions, the variety demonstrated tolerance to pest damage, specifically Tagosodes orizicolus. The plant shows responsiveness to colonization by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in cultivation systems with alternating wetting and drying regimes.
When tested under the conditions of the Krasnodar Territory, the variety showed good results, but was inferior to local varieties in terms of vitreousness and husk content. Malting quality tests showed sufficient germination energy for experimental purposes, but insufficient for commercial use.
