The variety is a semi-dwarf plant with high tillering density and high grain weight. In terms of maturity and yield potential, it is similar to the Cocodrie variety, while outperforming it in milling quality. Culinary properties ensure a soft rice, with characteristics similar to the Toro variety.

The variety is intended for the production of brown rice suitable for quick cooking in 10 minutes. Regarding disease resistance, the variety shows susceptibility to rice blast at the level of the Cypress variety and is considered moderately resistant to sheath blight.
