The variety is mid-maturing with a vegetation period of 130–135 days, ripening 10–15 days earlier than a number of other varieties. Stem height is 70–80 cm. The plants possess high resistance to lodging and stem breakage, and are also resistant to grain shattering.

The 14–15 cm long panicle contains an average of 75–80 grains, with the percentage of empty grains at 8–12%. Thousand kernel weight reaches 28–30 g, hectolitre weight is 57–58 kg/hl. The grain has adhesive properties during culinary processing.
