The variety belongs to the "Long A" type, characterized by a medium-low stem and high resistance to lodging. The growing period is about 145 days. The variety shows good resistance to major seedling diseases, including rice blast, Helminthosporium leaf spot, and leaf spot, and is suitable for cultivation by water seeding.

The grain of the variety is crystalline, without a chalky core, and the amylose content is 15%. The variety is characterized by high yield and good performance during industrial processing (husking and milling). The recommended sowing date is up to May 8–10.
