The variety is an herbaceous peony hybrid. Its genetic background involves the maternal plant Paeonia lactiflora ‘Lord Kitchener’ and the paternal plant, which is an F1 hybrid (P. officinalis ‘Rubra Plena’ × P. officinalis var. banatica).

The variety has an ornamental purpose and is classified as suitable for landscaping, planting in open field, use as cut flowers, as well as for medicinal needs.
